Former Occupational Therapist and Health Care Coordinator Brenda Hanna

About Brenda Hanna

A former occupational therapist and clinical operations manager, Brenda Hanna serves as a care coordinator for Toronto Central LHIN (TC-LHIN), a health integration network that helps meet the health needs of more than 1.2 million residents of Ontario, Canada. Soon after joining TC-LHIN in 2016, Brenda Hanna left the Windsor, Ontario-based AchieveMax Rehabilitation, which she owned and operated for more than six years. At AchieveMax, she led employee recruitment while implementing quality care plans and operational improvement programs to ensure optimum client care.

In preparation for her career, Ms. Hanna earned a bachelor of health science and master of occupational therapy from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Her early professional experience included positions with Rehab First, Bayshore Therapy and Rehabilitation, and Karen Rucas and Associates.

Throughout her career, Ms. Hanna has continued to advance her knowledge and skills through various professional development courses. She maintains an interest in a number of topics, including Alzheimer's research, health care delivery and management, and meditative therapy. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and watching independent films.
